We play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. We play all year, with a short break around Christmas and New Year.
†Since we play in a school hall, their activities take priority and so, on a few nights each year, we will not play. In such cases we notify via an email list and also in the headlines of this page.
We play social games only, singles and doubles. There is no organised competition.
Cost is up to $6 per night, which includes use of bats and balls. Discounts are available for club members, concessions, and families.
As a small club, we have no qualified coaches and cannot offer coaching services.
We meet in the sports hall of the Jamboree Heights State Primary School at 35 Beanland St, Jamboree Heights.
The pin in Google Maps shows the actual building that we play in. Access is from Beanland St (not from Patrol St), but the building is not visible from the street. Please ignore any navigation system that tries to take you to Patrol St.
From the lights at the intersection of Beanland St and Horizon Drive, travel down Beanland until you reach the roundabout. Drive full circle around the roundabout and back up Beanland St. Take the first driveway on the left and follow it through to a small car park.
Not sure if table tennis is for you? Got questions? Call on 3103 0644 or ping us a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Regular or occasional players can request being added to the Google groups announcements list. This is a very low volume list and mainly sends messages about unexpected closures. The group access point can be found at our Google Groups page. The list will have nothing of value to people who are not players at the club and you will most likely be rejected if you ask to join but your name is not recognised by list managers.
The resulting page that you see will be slightly different depending on your status as known to Google - see the pair of screenshots for examples. If your browser is already signed in with a Google account, then it shows the "ask to join group" button. Otherwise it replaces it with a "Contact group managers" button (which will not help much) plus a "Sign in" button that allows you to either sign in with your Google account or to create a new Google account.
A GMail address is always a valid "Google Account" as far as we know, but you can also associate other email addresses with a Google account. It is the same process as needed when somebody shares a google photos or google drive link with you, so your email address might already be a "google account". The steps are:
